As you can see, there've been a couple changes. Here's a summary so far....
- Expand http://www.scootlanta.com to a full site instead of a static page.
- Integrate forums URL as a subset of the site.
- Streamline the look/feel/style of the forums with the site.
- Move scootlanta events out of the forums.
- Create the ability for anyone to submit a new event and/or venue.
- Remove the nagging "You just logged in" step after logging in.
- Simplify forum structure by removing subforums in highly used areas (e.g. general, events). Feedback has shown these were confusing.
- Re-deploy the feedback/idea generation tool.
- Introduce the FAQ tool.
- Migrate to a new donation tool which allows subscription/recurring donations.
- Introduce Flickr galleries.
- Introduced the User Name field in profiles for real names
- Search friendly URLs (SEO)
A couple of things on the immediate horizon:
- Move scootlanta classifieds and job postings out of the forums.
- Ability to post and share web links - social bookmarks.
- Modify the style of the "unread" forum icons to be more salient.
